The third year of the Linguistic Mediation Course study plan also provides for a “traineeship” to apply for a period of at least 150 hours. This way, the student has the opportunity to carry out a learning period in a company or institution: this is a solid opportunity of a direct full immersion in the working life to learn some specific professional skills. So, the School internships is really significant for the student who is completing his study course.
The Nelson Mandela School gives some useful suggestions to those who are completing their study course. The School counselors organise different meetings, even individual, to inform the students about further training, future job opportunities and to teach one’s degree self-awareness.
They suggest the new qualificated students different opportunities to access the working life, in reference to the great number of incoming job offers and the information the School provides to companies (in respect of the data protection law).
Every year the Nelson Mandela School makes several agreements with institutional organisations, companies, private and public entities, in order to allow its students to carry out this experience in Italy or abroad. These agreements can be used even to start a post-graduate stage.
Anyway, the students can address our School Office to start an internship/post-graduate stage or for further information.
