How to Enrol

Admission Requirements

To enrol in the Bachelor’s Degree in Language Mediation (L-12) at SSML Nelson Mandela, applicants must hold a Secondary School Diploma (or an equivalent qualification).

Pre-Enrolment

Students graduating from Language High Schools or from Technical Institutes specialising in Tourism or International Relations for Marketing (RIM) may proceed directly with pre-enrolment without taking the entrance test. Pre-enrolment allows students to benefit from the available tuition fee reduction and reserve one of the limited places available in the Bachelor’s Degree in Language Mediation.

Students coming from all other upper secondary school programmes are required to take the entrance test. Those who successfully pass the test may then proceed with pre-enrolment.

Enrolment

If you have successfully passed the entrance test, or if you hold a diploma from a Language High School, a Technical Institute specialising in International Relations for Marketing (RIM) or Tourism, and/or you have already completed the pre-enrolment procedure, you may proceed with your enrolment for the current academic year by submitting the following documentation to the Student Office.

• Secondary School Diploma (or equivalent qualification), or a self-certification of the qualification obtained.
• 1 passport-size photograph, paper or digital; 
• Copy of passport and residence permit (for international students).
• Proof of payment of the enrolment/registration fee and the Regional Right to Education Tax (A.R.D.S.U.).
