You can take the test in person at our campus or online.

Admission Test

The SSML Nelson Mandela degree programme has limited enrolment. Therefore, applicants must take an entrance test before enrolment.

Students graduating from Language High Schools, Technical Institutes specialising in International Relations for Marketing (RIM) or Tourism are exempt from the entrance examination and may reserve a place directly in the Bachelor’s Degree in Language Mediation through the pre-enrolment procedure.

At this link you can find the Pre-enrolment procedure.

All other applicants are required to take the entrance examination. Once the registration has been completed, candidates will receive a confirmation email. In the days preceding the examination, the Student Office will also contact applicants with all the necessary information regarding the admission test.

Recognition of Language Certifications

SSML Nelson Mandela recognises previously obtained language certifications. English language certificates at CEFR B1 level or above, issued by an accredited certification body, replace the English language section of the entrance examination.

To benefit from this exemption, applicants simply need to submit a copy of their certificate to the Student Office, either by email or in person. They will only be required to complete the remaining sections of the admission test.

Admission test results and the ranking list are published on the Institute’s Official Notice Board. Applicants may also contact the Student Office to obtain their individual score.

The ranking list is drawn up according to the score obtained in the admission test. In the event of a tie, priority is given to the applicant who registered earlier for the admission examination.

Applicants may contact the Student Office to receive guidance and support in preparing for the entrance test.
