Psychological Counselling
The academic journey represents an important phase of personal and professional development, during which students may experience difficulties related to study management, time organisation, exam preparation, motivation, and adaptation to university life.
To support students in dealing with these situations, SSML Nelson Mandela offers a Psychological Counselling Service, a dedicated space for listening and discussion characterised by professionalism, confidentiality, and a non-judgmental approach.
The service aims to promote personal well-being and support students in developing effective strategies to face the challenges of their educational path with greater confidence and serenity.

Alias Career
SSML Nelson Mandela promotes an inclusive and respectful academic environment, committed to protecting the dignity and privacy of every individual.
For this purpose, the possibility of activating an Alias Career is provided, a tool intended for students undergoing gender transition or for those who wish to use, within academic life, an identity consistent with their personal journey.
The Alias Career allows students to use a name different from their legal name in SSML activities and services, while ensuring confidentiality and protecting their identity.
The activation request may be submitted at any time after enrolment by sending a communication to: info@ssmlnelsonmandela.it The chosen name may be used in the main areas of academic life, including:
- University booklet;
- SSML badge;
- Lecture register.
The Alias Career represents a further step in SSML Nelson Mandela’s commitment to inclusion and respect for individual identities, values addressed to the entire academic community, including students, teaching staff, and administrative personnel.
Microsoft 365 Mail and Services
Microsoft 365 represents a complete and secure digital environment supporting study activities, communication, and collaboration within the academic community.
The platform integrates applications and tools designed to facilitate effective management of educational activities and continuous collaboration between students and lecturers.
SSML Nelson Mandela provides students and lecturers with access to Microsoft 365 services, including the main applications for productivity and digital communication. Through these tools, it is possible to organise academic work, collaborate on educational projects, and access the digital resources necessary to successfully complete the educational pathway in an efficient and innovative way.
Adobe Express for University
Within the framework of digital education and communication, SSML Nelson Mandela integrates Adobe Express among the digital resources supporting teaching activities and the projects developed by students and lecturers.
The platform allows users to create graphic materials, presentations, multimedia content, and visual communication resources, promoting the development of digital skills that are increasingly important in contemporary professional contexts.
